Reflection on Communicative Tools in Teaching and Learning

As a teacher trainee, communicative tools play a crucial role in enhancing my learning. These tools help streamline collaboration, enable feedback, and support both teaching and learning.

Among many communicative tools such as blog, Google Docs & Slide email, Padlet, Google Classroom, Discussion Boards, Zoom, and Social media apps, I have found Google Docs to be a very helpful tool. It makes my academic life much easier, especially when I have to work with classmates on group projects or share assignments with my Lecturer. One of the best things about Google Docs is that it allows multiple people to write, edit, and comment on a document at the same time. This means I don’t have to keep sending files back and forth through email. Everything is saved online, and I can see changes in real time. It saves time and reduces confusion.

Google Docs is also useful when I need to ask for feedback.
I can simply share the document with my lecturers or peers and they can leave comments on the side. This helps me understand what to improve without needing to meet face to face. I also like that I can access my documents from any device, whether it's my laptop, phone, or computer. This makes it very flexible and convenient for me as a student.

In the future, as a teacher, I believe Google Docs will be a great tool for both teaching and communication. I can use it to share lesson plans, homework, and class notes with my students. I can also give feedback on their writing assignments easily. For group activities, students can collaborate with each other on the same document, just like I do now.

It can also be helpful when working with other teachers on school projects or planning lessons together.

Overall, Google Docs is a simple but powerful tool that helps me now as a student and will continue to help me as a teacher in my near future.
